How to Find Out If an Event Is Supported

Q - Is there an event we can trigger if the extra item data fields change on an item? Knowledge Base couldn’t find a reference to this.


A - We are not supporting such an event.  If you'd like to know if a particular event is supported, the best way is to go to Utility -> System File Setup -> Report -> Master Event List.  In your case, you are interested in knowing anything related to the Item Master table which is IMITMFIL.  So, you can enter the parameters in “Master Event List” as follows:

The following is a list of all events related to Item File maintenance (IM0101).  As you can see, we don’t support specific events related to the Extra Item Data Change.
