This feature allows the user to specify a single order date as the cut off when printing picking tickets. This allows the user to prioritize orders based on this date versus the line item request/promise date. A new F1 toggle is now available from field 4. Line Item Promise Date Cut-Off.
Pressing the F1 key will display the Ord Date entry field and allow the user to specify and Order Date to use instead of the Line Item Promise Date.
When
you press F1 key at the Line Item Promise Date Cut-off field, you
will be taken to the Order Date field. When using this option, the system will
print all eligible line items for any orders that are eligible to be printed
based on the order date. It will ignore any specific line item request or
promise dates. If
you press Enter and do not enter an Order Date, the system
will default to today's date.
Scenario
1:
Line Item Promise Date Cut-off All
Ord Date 02/09/2026
This
means system will only print those order that the order date = 02/09/2026 and
all qualified line items on the order will be printed.
Scenario 2:
Line Item Promise Date Cut-off 02/09/2026
It
means order date will not be used for filtering and only the qualified line
items with a promise date that is less than or equal to 02/09/2026 will be printed. This is the traditional
Elliott logic.
If printing picking tickets using the Order Date instead of the Line Item Promise Date Cut-Off for one order and the order does not qualify because of the the order date, the output will specify that there was and "Order Date Mismatch".
