Support Order Customer Item Info on Item Barcode Label

This feature is a continued improvement to the following enhancement:

In the Item Barcode Label printing function, we now support the printing of the following fields:
  • Order Number
  • Customer Item Number
  • Customer Item Description 1
  • Customer Item Description 2
To enable this feature, please make sure that in Global Setup ->System -> Barcode Printing Setup -> flag 23, you enter "Y" at the Allow Entering COP SO# With Item by Item Label option.  See sample screen below:


In addition, in  Global Setup ->System -> Barcode Printing Setup -> Flag 1, Enable Item label Printing Function ? should be "Y," and in the popup window, make sure "Order/Customer Item Info" is selected. See sample screen below:

Then, in I/M -> Item File Maintenance or Inquiry, you may select Print Label -> Generate iIem Label ASCII File - Item by Item.  You may enter either item number or sales order number. See sample screen below:

For those items added to the list by entering the sales order number, they will be displayed in the F4 list with the corresponding sales order number. See sample screen below:

Then, the label ASCII file will contain these addition columns: Sales Order Number, Customer Item Number, Description 1 & 2. See sample screen below:
