Version: 8.5 and above
The Purchase Order & Receiving-> Processing-> Print Purchase Orders menu option has been split into two options: Print PO Range and Print One PO.
The new Print One PO option was added to help alleviate locking issues when multiple users are attempt to print purchase orders at the same time. For example, if a user is printing a range of purchase orders and another user attempts to print a purchase order immediately from Purchase Order processing, they would receive the message "Another Station Is Printing Purchase Orders, Print Not Allowed".
This feature will give the user who is printing the purchase order immediately the ability to wait until the user has finished printing.
After choosing the Print One PO option, the user will be prompted for the purchase order number to be printed.
P.O. No - The field is required. Enter the purchase order number to print. F7 search is available.
After entering a valid purchase order number, the purchase order information is displayed and the user confirms that the correct purchase order has been chosen. Once a PO is chosen, the application will check if another user is printing purchase orders. If true, the user will be presented with the message "Cannot Print PO 123456-00. Another Station Is Printing. Will You Wait?".
Answer Y, to try again. Answer N if you do not want to wait for the other user to complete printing purchase orders.
This new wait message is also available when printing purchase orders immediately from Purchase Order Processing, Release Blank Orders, and Buyer's Desk.
