Feature - PayTrace V3 API Support for Credit Card Integration

Currently the level 3 credit card integration is supported with version 1 of the PayTrace APIs. See this link for more information on the integration setup. This change allows the user to choose to use the new version 3 PayTrace APIs for the integration.  

If PayTrace if the primary integration, you can switch to the new APIs by setting Global Setup-> Add-ons-> On-line Credit Process-> field 2. Interface with Which CC Gateway Software to 6.



2. Interface with Which CC Gateway Software - PayTrace V1 APIs are supported with option 5 and PayTrace V3 APIs are supported with option 6.

Choosing option 6, will bring up the integration options screen.



A new field, Merchant ID has been added. The merchant ID is found in the PayTrace portal.

  1. Merchant ID is your PayTrace ID.
    1. To find this ID:
      1. Access the Virtual Terminal Menu option within your PayTrace account.
      2. Select the View Batch Reports Menu option.
      3. Select the Search button.
        Your PayTrace ID will appear as the 5-digit number after your Merchant ID.
        Example: “Account - sandbox / 8XXXXXXXXXX / 8XXXX”
The same change applies to the Accounts Receivable Payment Source maintenance application. If your PayTrace source is defined in this application, you can set field 6. Custom CC Interface to 6 to choose the new V3 APIs.



6. Custom CC Interface - PayTrace V1 APIs are supported with option 5 and PayTrace V3 APIs are supported with option 6.

Choosing option 6, will bring up the integration options screen.


Enter the merchant ID.

You should see no difference in processing using the V3 APIs versus the V1 APIs.
