Feature - Order Salesman Change Event

Release Date: 7/18/18

A new event has been added that will notify the user if a salesman number on an order is changed from the default salesman in Add Mode or if the salesman number is changed in Change Mode. This event is available from Customer File Maintenance. 

The File name - ARCUSFIL

The Program - CP0101

The Type - CHGORSLM

Description - Change Order Salesman by Cust




This event is triggered from the following applications:

  • Order Entry – Add (original salesman fields are the defaults for the customer based upon Global Setup flags) or Change Mode (the original salesman fields are the original values before the change)
  • Sales Desk -  Original salesman fields are the defaults for the customer based upon Global Setup flags
  • Copy or Consolidate Order -  Original salesman fields are the original values from the Copy from Order or the first order if consolidating orders.

 The following is a list of event variables that are available:

  • Customer No
  • Order Number
  • Bill to Name
  • Source – ADD=Add Order, CHG=Change Order, SD=Sales Desk, COP=Copy Order, CON=Consolidate Order
  • Orig Salesman 1 
  • New Salesman 1
  • Orig Salesman 2
  • New Salesman 2
  • Orig Salesman 3
  • New Salesman 3
