Feature - New Item Master CHGITEM2 Event

Version: 8.5 and Above

A new item file change event, CHGITEM2, has been added. You can subscribe to event from Inventory Management-> Maintenance-> Item File or Inventory Management-> Inquiry-> Item File Inquiry.  If subscribed, this event will be triggered if item description 1, item description 2, the product category or the user-defined code are changed.


It has the following variables:
  1. Item Number - The item that was changed
  2. Item Description 1
  3. Item Description 2
  4. Product Category
  5. User Defined Code
  6. Original Product Category
  7. Original User Defined Code
  8. Original Item Description 1
  9. Original Item Description 2




This event is triggered from Inventory Management-> Maintenance-> Item File and Inventory Management-> Utility-> Change Existing Item Import.
