Feature - Delete Kit Components When Item Activity Code is Set to 'O'

A new feature has been added to allow the user the option of deleting kit components when a kit item activity code is changed to"'O" through:

1. Item maintenance  IM --> Maintenance --> Item file
2. Obsolete Item update   IM --> Maintenance --> Item file --> Purge --> Obsolete Items
3. Change existing item import IM --> Util-setup --> Change existing item import

Set up this feature by going to Util-setup --> Global setup --> Dist --> IM global control, screen 3, change field 14 to 'Y' as follows:



Entering "O" as the activity code in item maintenance will cause a message to appear as follows. Enter "Y" to delete kit components.




When running Obsolete Item update, the report will show when kit components have been deleted and total Items where kit components
have been deleted:
