SMTP Email Log in Elliott V8
Q - Do we have a log of the emailed reports? We are using Elliott V8 and we want to have "proof" that the email was sent.
A - All emails in V8 sent through SMTP will have a corresponding log entry in the Elliott log folder. If you look at <ElliottRoot>\Log\CompanyID folder, you will find files like like EmailLog-YYMMDDHHMMSS.csv. For example, you may find a CSV file like:
M:\Elliott7\Log\01\EmailLog-160301095403.csv
where 160301095403 represents the date/time stamp value of 03/01/2016 9:45:30, which is when this log file was first created. See sample screens below:
