Popup Customer or Ship-To Notes in Shipment Verification

In Global Setup -> Add-Ons -> Shipment Verification, a new flag is added:
    62. Popup Cust/Ship-To Notes in Shipment Verif?
The possible values are:
    N=Order Notes per Note Type
    Y=+Cust/Ship-To Notes
    R=+Cust/Ship-To Notes in Read Only Mode

The default is "N." See sample screen below:


Not all notes in order, customer or ship-to will cause popups in Shipment Verification.  You need to go to Note Type file maintenance, and choose a note type to pop up its notes during shipment verification. See example below:


With the above example, it means if you have notes in order header, customer or ship-to with note type = "_SPE", then the note window will pop up and display the "_SPE" notes in Shipment Verification after the order is entered. Only "_SPE" notes will be shown and users will not see other types of notes.  In Global Setup, if you choose the "R" = "Read Only" option, then the Shipment Verification user will not be able to modify customer or ship-to notes, which is likely the desirable control for most users.

Please note that we will only display one type of notes. For example, if you have both note types "_SPE" and "_SPE2" flag "27. PopUp Shipping Ver" set to "Y," then you also have both "_SPE" and "_SPE2" used in the same order. During Shipment Verification, we will only display one type of note depending on which note the system finds first. So the key information is you should avoid using multiple note types to pop up notes in Shipment Verification.
