How to Change Report Description in the Spooled Report Manager

Q - After a report is printed and spooled to the disk, I can see it in the spooled report manager. Can I still change the description of that report?
A - Yes, you can. The
spooled reports reside in the <ElliottRoot>\Reports\99\... folder. Where 99
is the company ID. You can find the corresponding spooled reports as a
zip file in the proper corresponding folder. The description is part of
the file name. Just find the description and change it. See
sample screens below:
Note each column of the spooled report is separated by a period "." and, therefore, you have full control of the spooled report manager entry as long as you have the NTFS right to the spooled reports folders. Spooled Report Managers is simply a specialized UI (User Interfaced) to the Elliott Spooled Report Manager folder structure.
In the above list of files, we choose to put the description "Avi Description" on the last entry between "Credit Car Receipt" (Name) & "0" (Pages). Now we bring up the Spooled Report Manager, and we will see "Avi Description" shows up. See sample screen below:
