Feature - Serial No. Scan Error Checking in Presales Transaction Import

There are three options available in Global Setup-> System-> Serial Number Tracking that allow the user to specify if PO Warehouse Receiving should check for invalid characters, check for serial number length inconsistencies, and verify that a serial number meets the minimum length requirement.

The Presales Transaction Import application now performs these checks when the ASN information from the vendor is imported. 

If an error condition is detected, an error message will print on the interface journal and the import file will be rejected. Any errors must be corrected before the ASN file can be imported.
