Feature - Restrict Purchasing Location in Two-Location Buyer's Desk

This feature allows the user to restrict purchases at a location when using the two-location version of Buyer's Desk.  This is handled by associating a specific attribute with an item. This functionality is enabled through System Utilities-> Global Setup-> Add-On-> Buyer Desk-> fields 9 and 10.



9. XX Restricted Purchasing Attribute - Enter the attribute that is associated with the iIem Master record that indicates that the item purchase quantity in Buyer's Desk is restricted to that location. In the example above, if the P-Only attribute is associated with an item, it cannot be purchased at the G location.
10. XX Restricted Purchasing Attribute - Enter the attribute that is associated with the Item Master record that indicates that the item purchase quantity in Buyer's Desk is restricted to that location. In the example above, if the G-Only attribute is associated with an item, it cannot be purchased at the P location.

When in the Buyer's Desk Item Review screen and an item's purchase is restricted to a certain location, this location is marked with an asterisk.



For example, in the screenshot above, the item may only be purchased at the P location. If the user tries to enter a quantity to buy at the G location, they will receive the message "Item Cannot Be Ordered For This Location":
