Feature - Print Packing List by Box Number

This feature will allow the user to print the packing list by box number when printing the packing list from Shipping Verification or when printing the packing list from the Shipment Data screen in Order Inquiry.

A new option has been added to Global Setup. Go to Global-Setup-> Add-On-> Shipment Verification-> 59. Print Immediate Packing List By Box?



59. Print Immediate Packing List By Box? The valid options are Y=Yes,  N=No,  A=Always & No Prompt. The default value is N. If the option is set to Y, the user will be asked whether to print the packing list by box. If the option is set to A, Shipping Verification will automatically print the packing in box order.

Note: If option 34. Print Immediate Packing Slip ? is set to Y or A and  59. Print Immediate Packing List By Box? is set to Y or A, both versions of the packing slip will print.
  


Below is a sample of the packing list.



Notice that the items are printed by box number. Also, only the quantity shipped is shown since the packing list is generated from the shipping data. The packing list in box order will support serial numbers but it will not support box numbers.

This new format can be printed from Shipping Verification and from the Shipment Data window in Order Inquiry.



When in Order Inquiry, press the F3 key to display the shipment data.



Press the F1 key to print the packing list by box for the shipment data that is displayed.

NOTE: The packing list by box is supported via the standard packing list only - Design Your Own is not supported at this time.
