Feature - Option to Allow Entry of Obsolete UPC and/or MFG Item Number

This feature gives the user the ability to find an obsolete item when entering a UPC code or manufacturer's model number. A new option "P=Obsolete and Planning" to  Dist, I/M Global Setup screen 2, and field 3, Exclude Obsolete Item In Item Search.



3, Exclude Obsolete Item In Item Search - Default is N. If answering "Y" or "P" to the option, a popup window will ask if Exclude Obsolete Item When Search UPC Code and Exclude Obsolete Item When Search MFG Item.



Exclude Obsolete Item When Search UPC Code - Default is Y.
Exclude Obsolete Item When Search MFG Item - Default is Y.

If set to N, entry of an obsolete or planning UPC or MFG item number will return the item number to the application even though it is not considered active.
