Feature - Item Linkage Processing and Item Linkage CSV Report Changes
Release Date: 4/11/25
Version: 8.5 and above
Inventory Management-> Processing-> Item Linkage Processing no longer allows the entry of a link type that resolves to a URL. The main purpose of this application is to check the existence and copy physical files on a local computer. The user will receive the following message if they enter an image type that resolves to a URL - "HTTP Link Cannot Be Copied. Entry Not Allowed".
Inventory Management-> Report-> Item Linkage CSV Report now supports the option 15. Validate URL Link?
15. Validate URL Link - The default is N. This field is accessible if any of the link types entered in field 14. Link Type to Print resolve to a URL. If set to Y, the report will attempt to validate the URL. If valid, the literal "Valid" is exported to the corresponding CSV column for the image type.
