Feature - Default Receiving Transaction Date in Warehouse Receiving Import

A new option is available when importing Warehouse Receiving transactions from a CSV file. This option, Trx Date, allows the user to specify the receiving transaction date when importing receipts. This is helpful if processing a large receipt and the transaction date needs to be back dated to the actual date it is was received for accounting purposes.

Field 5. Trx Date has been added to support this feature.



The default for this field is the system date if not using vessels in Warehouse Receiving.



If using vessels and the date is not specified, the transaction date will default to the vessel arrival date if provided or the system date if it is not. If the transaction date is provided on this screen, this date will be used.
