Feature - Copy Notes, Attributes, and Links When Copying Item Through the New Item CSV Import

When adding an item by using the F3=Copy Item function in Item File Maintenance, the user is prompted about copying notes, attributes and links based upon the setting in Global Setup -> Dist -> I/M Global Control, Screen 2, fields "14. Copy Note When Copy Item?," "15. Copy Attribute When Copy Item?," and "16. Copy Link When Copy Item?."



This functionality is now available through the New Item CSV Import application when specifying an item in column B, "Copy From Item#."



If Global Setup -> Dist -> I/M Global Control, Screen 2, fields "14. Copy Note When Copy Item?," "15. Copy Attribute When Copy Item?," and "16. Copy Link When Copy Item?" are set to Y or A, the corresponding notes, attributes or links will be copied when the new item is created.
