Feature - Case Size Support for Quantity Per Box

Quantity per box is set up in Global Setup -> Dist -> I/M Global Control, Screen 2, flag “2. Use Which Item Field For Quantity/Box ?” This feature adds item case size to the available options. For users who are using the Order Multiple for purchasing and the User Defined Amount for other purposes, this gives the user the ability to define the case size elsewhere.


  2. Use Which Item Field For Quantity/Box  - Valid options are: U=User Defined Amount, M=Order Multiple, C=Case, N=None. The default value is "U."

A new field, Item Case Size, has been added to the Item Master file to support this option. 


Field 47 now supports the entry of the order multiple and order minimum. Field 48 supports the entry of a case size. This field can only be accessed if field  2. Use Which Item Field For Quantity/Box in I/M Global Setup is set to "C.." Otherwise, this field will show "N/A."
