Feature - Adding Currency to Invoices For Customers Without the INVCURRENCY Attribute

This feature allows the user to print a currency code on the invoice for the item price, net price, extended price, order total sales amount, miscellaneous charges, freight charges, total tax amount, tax amount 1, tax amount 2, tax amount 3, order grand total, payment amount, amount due, total price, and discount amount. This feature was designed to work in conjunction with the Invoice History Printing with Currency Conversion feature.

NOTE: This feature is not about supporting multi-currency handling. Elliott does not support this functionality at this time.

The new field,  38. Currency Symbol to Print on Invoice, is available in System Utilities-> Global Setup-> COP-Func-> Invoice Printing.



38. Currency Symbol to Print on Invoice - Default is blank. Max of 3 characters. Once the currency code is provided, it will print on the invoice for the fields specified above.

During the regular invoice printing, the specified currency code will print on the invoice if System Utilities-> Global Setup-> COP-Func-> Invoice Printing-> 38. Currency Symbol to Print on Invoice is set.  This is for all customers regardless if the customer has the INVCURRENCY attribute defined.  No currency conversion will take place during regular invoice printing.

During the history invoice printing, the application will check for the INVCURRENCY attribute.
  1. For customers with the INVCURRENCY attribute, the invoice amounts will be converted and the amount and currency code specified in the INVCURRENCY attribute will print (this is current functionality).

  1. For customers without the INVCURRENCY attribute, the currency code specified  in 38. Currency Symbol to Print on Invoice will print on the invoice and no currency conversion will take place.
