Single Level Where-Used Inquiry

Application Overview

 

The Single Level Where-Used Inquiry application is used to easily and quickly finds the immediate parent items of an entered component item.

 

The operator may choose either to display all immediate parent items of the entered component item or only the active ones.

 

Run Instructions

 

      Select Single Level Where-Used from the pull down BOMP Inquiry window.  The following screen will then be displayed:

 The following options are available:

    • Select the desired mode from the Single Level Where-Used menu bar
    • Enter the data requested on the screen

     

          To return to the menu bar, press the ESC or F10 key. To leave this application, press X for EXIT when positioned at the menu bar.

     



    Entry Field Descriptions

     

    Name

    Type and Description

    1.      Component Item No:

    15 alphanumeric characters.

    Enter the item number of the component item whose immediate parents you wish to see.

    Press the F7 key to search for an item by number or press the F8 to search for an item by description.

    2.      Only Show Active?

    Y or N.

    Enter Y to display only active parents or N to display all parent items.

    This field defaults to N.
