AVIRA Anti Virus Software Kills Elliott EL800 Executable

It has been reported that the latest AVIRA anti virus software can kill Elliott EL800.EXE.  You can verify this by going to the virustotal.com website and uploading your EL800.EXE.  While all other anti virus software is OK with Elliott's EL800.EXE, AVIRA kills it.  See sample screen below:


Since only 1 in 65 (AVIRA) is reporting that this is a virus and is a case of false identify, there's really nothing Elliott can do on our side.

You should contact AVIRA and report the case to them so they can fix this issue.  People have asked if there is any anti-virus software we recommend.  The following KB article outlines our position:
