Often times we use Ship Verification days prior to the actual ship date so that the carton labels are generated. This is useful when we have large shipments that take time to label.

When doing so, the "To Ship" date in the COP order header changes to the date verified.  This does not happen when using Order Billing.

Since the To Ship is treated as a request date when entering the sales order, we lose sight of the original Ship Date. 

Is this a programming error? If not what is the purpose of treating ship verification differently from order billing and how can we track the original ship date?
